Set within the sun-drenched landscape of Central New South Wales, this childcare design embraces the natural rhythm of its regional setting. The landscape palette draws inspiration from the surrounding native grasslands and dry woodland ecologies — celebrating texture, movement, and resilience.

Clusters of Lomandra, Dianella, and hardy ornamental grasses frame the architecture, softening the built form while creating a dynamic play of line and form. Planting is designed to be robust, sensory-rich, and low maintenance — encouraging interaction and connection for children, carers, and the broader community.

The overall composition works in harmony with the building’s architectural curves and tonal materiality, grounding the site in its place while providing a sense of calm, safety, and opportunity for discovery. This is a landscape that grows with the children — playful yet purposeful, functional yet full of wonder.
